Narrative Teks -Mungkid Village

MUNGKID VILLAGE

Mungkid village is located in Magelang regency Central Java, Indonesia. There has a traditional folklore that the people like it even now. I hope you like it. Ok lets me begin^^.

One upon a times lived a girl named Kid. She lived with her mother but she is the naugty girl. Her mother was sad but she never made her happy. One day Kid went to the river to catch some fish. She said  her mother “ Mother, I want to go fishing in the river” and than her mother said “Its cloudy outsaid, the rain will be fall, why  dont you stay at home? “. Kid always did ignored her mother said and that whet to the river.

The weather is very cloudy now when she arrived at the river. It was drizziling, but Kid was still busy to fishing. Later rain fell down heavily. Finally Kid gave up. However right before she left, she saw something was shining in the river. She was surprise because it was a big egg, and than she brought the egg at home. Her mother was surprise to see her brought a big egg. She ask with Kid where did she find it, and she said that she got it from the river. Her mother advised  to retrun it because the egg not yours. She always ignored her mother’s advice and she planned to eat the egg even her mother left.

In the morning, her mother was ready to go the field and dont forget her mother advise Kid to put the egg back to the river. Kid did not say anything, when her mother left from the house, she immediately boiled the egg and than she ate it. It was so delicious, she felt full and suddenly she feel asleep and than she had a dream and handsome man come in her dream. He said that the egg from God. He said with her to be a good and kind girl if she want to met her soulmate in her life. Yeah even now, noone man want to merry her because she had the bad character, she always did not heared her mother says. And than she woke up to the dream and she was think about the dream. She aware then she had fault with her mother and when her mother come home she apologized and her mother felt happy to saw that because her son was aware.

One day when she attand the party, she met a handsome man is like in her dream. She was surprise because the man was looking at her. She felt very happy when the man invite her to talked and she asked with the man what his name and why he want to talked with her. When he heared that, he just smile n he said “ my name is Mung, and I love you when I meet you in my dream, I want to merry you Kid, you are a beautiful girl not only your face, but you had a inner beauty, and I really love you. Kid please accep me..” Kid was very happy to heared that, and she was acceptance Mung become her husband and finally they life happiness together. Since they life together the place where them lived was named Mungkid. Yeah it was the traditional folklore from Mungkid village, Magelang regency in Central Java. ^^
